It is inside this console that we must look if we want to understand the origin of this creation. It is a complete work around black and burnt wood associated with a rough design almost medieval: two crosspieces assembled in two bronze blocks. The geometric patterns that appear in the burnt oak drawers were the source of inspiration. They have been reproduced on all white bronze barrettes present on the front decoration. This same motif is also repeated with the engraving on the ebony top, whose black tones are accentuated by the use of a matte varnish.
