This furniture sculpture is inspired by the designer’s region of origin. It represents the breakwaters at the foot of the ramparts of Saint-Malo. These huge oak stakes, sculpted by the tides over the centuries to protect the corsair town, are represented on the furniture by bronze feet with a green patina. The upper part of the ebony cabinet is covered with bronze netting that outlines the stakes and allows four doors to open. The interior is lined with white leather and has three small drawers for storing bottles of alcohol. There are shelves on either side of the cabinet for storing glasses.
