The Hybride collection shows the raw material even before the stage of human hand work. Designed as a marble block from the quarry, the artist uses a trompe l’oeil technique on this piece to divert material. The cracks and fractures of a huge black block indicate a granite texture made of white bronze. To access the doors and drawers, simply slide your hand through the large cracks to free the storage opening.
